William Henry uses only custom-made fittings for our work. Right down to the micro-screws, every part is designed in our studio and produced to our specifications. For our screws, pivots, spacers/standoffs, buttons, and thumbstuds we use both titanium and stainless steel. As required, we heat treat the stainless fittings to ensure a lifetime of superlative performance in our mechanisms.
We often inlay our lock buttons and thumbstuds with semi-precious and precious gems. Ranging from opals to diamonds, these natural gems are selected for quality and securely fit or adhered into matching cavities in our fittings. An elegant touch that in no way hampers the utility of the piece - a hallmark of our work creating functional works of art.
