NKM2 - 'No Kidding...Me Too!'
William Henry is proud to announce a new partnership with actor and director Joe Pantaliano! Joe is a big fan of our work, and visited the studio in 2008; from that visit, Matt and Joe planned a special project to benefit Joe's non-profit organization called "No Kidding Me Too". NKM2 is a foundation committed to understanding and de-stigmatizing mental illness, especially in children and teens. In 2009 Joe is releasing a documentary of the same name, working to illuminate and legitimize depression and mental illness.
This collaboration with Joe and NKM2 is a limited edition of 100 pieces which features, for the first time, a heat-colored carbon damascus mosaic blade steel from William Henry. Heat colored damascus frames, inlaid mother of pearl, and inset sapphires complete the piece.
Each piece is priced at $1200, and HALF of all proceeds (50% of the purchase price) from the first 25 knives was donated to NKM2; a portion of the proceeds from the remaining pieces will also be donated as they continue their excellent work. A special knife, for a special and worthy cause!
NOTE: This is an extraordinary collector's edition from our studio - the heat coloring on the blade, while beautiful, will wear over time if the knife is used.
