William Henry’s current architecture for folding knives relies on the button lock, an elegant and durable one-hand locking system that we first introduced in 2002. By the start of 2005, we had re-designed and re-tooled all our pocket knives to use this lock, and the B and G series are ongoing variations on this theme.
The button lock offers better ambidexterity, greater strength, more safety than the traditional locking liner, and further distinguishes William Henry’s work in terms of precision and beauty. We still hand-fit each lock, one piece at a time, to achieve optimum mechanical accuracy and action on the knife. |
